Two tubes of peripheral blood (10mL/tube) are collected in PAXgene Blood ccfDNA tube
Stability:
7 to 10 days at room temperature
Unacceptable Conditions:
Specimen submitted is not in the PAXgene Blood ccfDNA Tubes or n the PAXgene Blood ccfDNA tube after expired date. Insufficient specimen (less than 10 mL whole blood/tube). Specimen is leaking from the collection tube, or the glass tube is broken. Gross hemolysis. Bacterial overgrowth
Submitted with incomplete requisition form (unless a requisition is subsequently sent). Unlabeled or improperly labeled specimens, without contact information or when failing to reach the ordering physician for clarification. cfDNA shipped in inappropriate temperature .
